Dr. Misra is just plain wonderful! While in the decision process to get the lap band procedure done, she met with me one-to-one and went through my options thoroughly. She wanted to make sure that I had all of the information about the different procedures available in gastric surgeries. She didn’t rush me. She answered all of my questions. She was kind and patient. This was so incredibly important to me as this was such a huge decision (and life changing). There hasn’t been a time when I’ve reached out to her that she wasn’t available to me. My care was and continues to be very important to her. She has impeccable credentials not only as a surgeon but also in gastric bypass as a specialty. She knows her stuff. You can find a lot of surgeons that do, but few really care about the person. She’s warm, friendly, with an excellent “bed side manner.” I would highly recommend Dr. Misra to anyone considering a gastric procedure. My surgery was a few months ago. I’m down 36 pounds and not looking back. I can thank her for giving me a new outlook on life, a healthier “me” and (soon!) a smokin’ body!!
